Small Business Services Sales Internship Program null

Your role

American Express has started an internship program and looking for aspiring interns for the role of small business services sales.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Assisting with the preparation with the core reporting for acquisition performance results, tracking weekly Actual results vs Target
• Upkeeping contractual documents and acquisition signings information including signings database management
• Providing sales support and administrative support to the B2B team
• Coordinating with international GCO, Compliance, Operational Risk, and business development leads, and cross-functional teams, to ensure the most effective support and relevant expertise is applied to particular matters
• Carrying out research tasks reactively as assigned or proactively as reasonably required, including but not limited to, handling general contract queries, advising on legal entity and signing authority issues and liaising with the SBS leaders and other stakeholders as required
• Analysing regulatory/compliance issues and legislative developments
• Reviewing incoming enquiries and responding as appropriate
• Preparation of presentation materials for leadership updates and other stakeholder presentations

About you

The preferred skills and qualifications for the role are:

• Great collaboration skills with ability to work towards deadlines, and an ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
• Skilled with MS office applications. Advanced MS Excel skills and database experience is a plus
• Available to start internship in Sept 2024
• Workplace Flexibility: Must be amenable to follow a hybrid work arrangement (onsite and work from home)
• Work From Home Requirements:
  • Must have at least 25 mbps internet connection plan / speed
  • Must have a private & quiet area to work at home
