Your role & responsibilities

The intern will work closely with business stakeholders and be responsible for performing various Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX) testing. This responsibility may include assisting in performing internal testing procedures and maintaining process narratives and risk and control matrices, as necessary.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Perform and document audit activities by professional standards and Atlassian’s Methodology.
  • Gain insight into the business functions by getting a close understanding of how different departments do their jobs.
  • Work with a team of experienced auditors, gaining exposure to the various components of the SOX audit lifecycle.
  • Gain experience in deploying Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) to execute the SOX program.
  • Assist the SOX team with other ad hoc tasks.

About you

On your first day, they will expect you to have:
