The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is the primary agency in the Philippines responsible for the collection of internal revenue taxes, enforcing tax laws, and ensuring that taxpayers comply with their tax obligations. It is a vital agency critical to the country’s economic growth and development.

Your responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs technical and administrative support services functions related to the areas of financial management. Prepares financial reports and maintains financial records for all funds of the Department and does related works.

  • Prepares Letter, Memoranda;
  • Prepares Advice of Checks Issued and Cancelled (ACIC), List of Due and Demandable Accounts Payable-Advice to Debit Account (LDDAP-ADA), Authority to Debit/Credit Account (AD/AC), Fund Transfer Allocation (FTA), Notice of Transfer of Allocation (NTA) and Notice of Barangay Transfer of Fund (NBTF);
  • Prepares financial reports such as Report of Checks Issued (RCI), Status of Fund Utilization and Balances, Status of Fund Releases; Unreleased Checks, and Report of Fund Transfer;
  • Handles Cash Advance up to Php1M, as needed, and Prepares Liquidation Report;
  • Consolidate financial reports of Central Office and Field Offices;
  • Prepares Request and Issuance Slip (RIS)/Purchase Request (PR); and
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.
