We are looking for a Junior IT professionals to take part in our “Technology Trainee Program”. This talent development project requires the trainee to rotate to three technology teams within a 12-month period to gain experiential learning and specialism in software development.

Working under the supervision of the Technology Division, you will:

  • Write code and unit tests to meet different business acceptance criteria and assist in the development, documentation, testing and analysis process of different projects.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining software applications by studying the business operations and their functional and technical requirements.
  • Obtain a better understanding of the software development process through guidance and training.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

 You will be ideal for this position if you are a fresh graduate of an IT course, and you are passionate about learning more about software development, coding, and testing.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Eagerness to learn about the different disciplines involved in software development
  • Amenability to participate in a 1 year training program that will provide you an opportunity to be trained by the different teams within the organization.

What is in store for you after the 12-month program?

After your learning and development journey with three different teams, you will then be deployed permanently to one of around 20 technology teams we have employing talent in software development.

You will carry-on with your learning and development journey, obtain more company-sponsored technology and industry-recognized certifications along the way, and be in a position in the medium-term to move up to a mid-level role.
