Application Process & Interviews at Edusuite

The assessment is pretty straightforward, it's slightly different from the common arithmetic, language, and logic kind of test pattern that I have seen when applying to all sorts of companies. The interview is 3 parts, with the HR, the lead developer, and the president. They're all pretty chill.

Edusuite's recruitment process is very smooth, it was the first time I encountered that everything is online even before the pandemic started. From pre-screening, assessment, and take-home exams. I just reported to the office physically for the final interview. And practically speaking, every company should have this kind of recruitment process as it really saves a lot of time and money for the candidate since it is not required to travel just to attend the initial interview and etc

Although somewhat long, the interview process went with ease.

The recruitment process are all online even before the pandemic started. this was actually the first thing that amazed me before I became a regular employee as the online process is very practical. We don't need to waste our time traveling just to attend the initial interview and etc. The process is really smooth because the HR Team is also hands-on with the candidates and approachable.

There's an initial screening interview, a take-home exam, and another interview to present your output for the exam.

The interview has less pressure when the interviewer asks a questions

I only remember the technical interview. It was practical SQL queries and a whole bunch of Java SE fundamentals that I was asked to explain.

I was applying for the HR and Admin Assistant Position back then, I was asked about my educational background and work experiences. They also gave me several scenarios to gauge my reasoning and decision-making skills. I actually do not have any HR Experiences background back then but I am fortunate that I was the one who got the position. It just shows that Edusuite does not only look into the work and education background of the candidate but also looks into the candidates attitude and the candidates eagerness to learn new things.

Mostly technical stuff.

Since I am applying for the HR Admin Position back then, they asked me about my educational background, my work experiences and gave me several scenarios that will gauge my reasoning and decision-making skills. I actually do not have any HR Experienced before and I am so fortunate that I was the one who got the position. This only proves that Edusuite is not only into the candidate's work and educational background but also considers the attitude, skills, and eagerness to learn of the applicant.

Questions are related to your experience, how to handle specific situations, some technical background.

Explaining the answer in code assessment

For the technical stuff - do a quick scan on Java SE fundamentals, read some basics on competitive programming. For the interviews - can't help much here, experience is key I think

Just be honest with everything and be yourself. Just give the details that you think necessary for HR to know

They should prepare for the technical exam.

Of course, you have to come prepared at all times especially If the candidate is applying for a technical position. But in general, just be honest and be yourself as everyone here in Edusuite is very kind and easy to talk to.

Be organized and thorough in answering the exam.
