Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As an intern, you'll have a unique opportunity to work closely with the founders and other team members to gain hands-on experience in launching new brands and growing the business. You'll be involved in various aspects of the business, from market research and product development to branding and marketing.
You'll be challenged to think creatively, work collaboratively, and bring new ideas. This internship will provide valuable experience in the e-commerce and startup world and a deep understanding of the D2C industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Research the D2C industry: Familiarize themselves with the D2C industry, its history, growth, and current trends.
- Identify top D2C brands: Conduct online research to identify the top D2C brands across different categories including but not limited to beauty, home, toys, and baby.
- Analyze brand positioning: Study each brand's unique value proposition, target audience, and brand positioning in the market.
- Gather brand information: Collect information on each brand's history, marketing strategy, assortment, and pricing strategy.
- Study brand marketing in depth: Analyze each brand's marketing strategies, including their digital marketing efforts, influencer partnerships, and advertising campaigns.
- Analyze brand social media: Study each brand's social media presence, including the number of followers, engagement rate, and types of content they post.
- Evaluate brand website: Evaluate each brand's website in terms of user experience, design, and functionality.
- Assess customer reviews: Analyze customer reviews and feedback from various sources such as social media, e-commerce platforms, and customer review websites.
- Prepare a report: Compile all the gathered information and create a comprehensive report on the top D2C brands, including insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Present findings: Present the findings to the team and stakeholders, highlighting key takeaways and insights from the research.
About you

Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or equivalent. The right profile must have a working knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector and your high drive and ambition to perform. Independence, flexibility, and speed are as important to you, and entrepreneurial drive, sales attitude, and the ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment complete your profile.
