Your role & responsibilities

As a Product Intern focused on Quality Assurance and User Testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless deployment of new features and maintaining the highest level of user satisfaction. You will work within the Product Management team and closely coordinate with key team members across various departments (operations, tech, UI/UX).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough QA testing upon deployment of new features to identify any functional or usability issues.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to coordinate user acceptance testing, gathering feedback, and ensuring new features meet user expectations.
• Creating and meticulously maintaining a comprehensive file containing test scenarios and acceptance criteria for various features, ensuring accurate and efficient testing procedures.
• Reporting and documenting bugs, glitches, and user feedback to the development team using clear and concise language.
• Ensuring the availability of complete and accurate user-facing documentation that explains the products' features, functionality, and benefits to end-users.
• Assisting the Product Manager in crafting a comprehensive user guide for stakeholders based on the product documentation, providing detailed instructions and insights into the product’s capabilities.
• Contributing to team discussions and brainstorming sessions to enhance product quality, usability, and overall user experience.

About you

You must have the following qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in documenting and reporting software defects and issues.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and processes.
• Basic understanding of product development and user-centric design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving industry.
• Experience with testing tools and platforms is a plus.
