Your role

As a Data Engineering Intern, you'll work on designing and maintaining data infrastructure, collaborating with experienced professionals from top-tier companies like Google and Lyft. Gain valuable hands-on experience in data engineering and industry best practices.

Internship Role:

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Assist in optimizing the data warehouses and data models to support data analytics and reporting needs.
• Participate in data integration efforts, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
• Help in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data pipelines and data processing.
• Contribute to the documentation of data engineering processes, best practices, and standards.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and propose innovative solutions.

About you

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Good to have:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Power BI) 
• Understanding of ETL principles and experience with data integration tools.
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks and technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with Git version control.
