Your role

The Inventory Management Intern will be providing support to the Inventory Management team mainly in conducting inventory count and reconciliation of stocks. You will also be responsible for auditing documents and reports as well as logging of necessary data needed for monthly reporting.

The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Inventory

  • Inventory count
    • Email count reminder.
    • Prepare count sheets (Excel and G Sheet).
    • Participate in inventory counts at warehouses and
      stores/showrooms.
  • Root cause analysis (RCA)
    • Log root causes from individual reconciliation reports.
    • Participate in team meetings on RCA.
  • Transfer Journals (TJ)
    • Acknowledge receipt of TJs used in deliveries and
      pull-outs.
    • Ensure paper documents have been scanned and
      properly archived in Google Drive.
    • Monitor open TJs per week to flag the Inventory team
      members of TJs for posting.
    • Post TJs

Affiliates

  • Purchase and Payables
    • Scan supporting documents and properly archive them in
      Google Drive and link to monitoring files for
      submission to BIR Audit.
    • Recon of Expense accounts to indicate VAT category
      and EWT ATC.
  • Government Reporting and Statutory Obligations
    • Prepare Output VAT Relief (SLS).
    • Prepare Input VAT Relief (SLP).
  • Lease and Receivables
    • Update OR Register
    • Receive check collections and issue official receipts.
    • Prepare billing statements summary.
    • Scanning of billings statements and OR and linking to
      monitoring for BIR audits.
  • Financial Statement Reporting
    • Prepare to excel accounting books and write a manual ledger.
    • Draft GFFS for SEC submission.
    • Prepare balance sheet accounts schedules.
