Training & Personal Development at Hitachi Solutions Philippines

The company supports and promotes growth and development for its employees. Internal training as well as external training opportunities are provided to encourage us employees to continuously improve and gain necessary skills for our respective roles.

Mostly of our trainings are from LindkedIn learning.

The company encourage us to enroll in trainings that will help us grow ourselves in terms of work and career.

The company offers unlimited trainings and certifications thru SBX. They also provide budgets that we can use for external courses and certificates.

I was taught properly and effectively by my reporting manager in a short period of time. Of course, even after years of working in HSAP, I'm still learning but I'm grateful for the guidance I have received and still receive.

Not sure if I attended any training by the company. i have attended training outside the company but paid by Hitachi.

Our company primarily utilizes Microsoft applications and products. The Manila office provides a wide range of training materials for most developers. My role mainly focuses on graphic design and some HTML/CSS coding. As such, I am responsible for seeking design certification opportunities to enhance my skills and expertise.

There have been improvements on our training. We have "Eat and learn" sessions which every month, a different group presents and shares learnings/knowledge that we can apply in any current or future projects. There are also online trainings we can use, and can take certifications with vouchers provided by our company, so that's great support in our continuous learning.

On my current role as a Liaison. It's hard to think what's the best training or programs I would get.

Every now and then, there are brownbag/training sessions via teams meeting. It's good to attend these especially when there is a new release, the speaker can go over the new updates and highlight the big updates. There are also compliance trainings/knowledge sessions to help us understand our core values and company culture.

During my on boarding, I was given a sheet of online trainings that I would have to complete which was great but I wish they are other forms of training/on boarding included (i.e shadowing) that would help newly hired employees to get accustomed to or know how we work here in Hitachi.

Hitachi Solutions offers a variety of trainings and development programs designed to enhance both professional and personal skills like monthly trainings as well as it encourages us to take certifications related to our role.

They provide technical and soft skills trainings to us. The Learning and development team is very accommodating because they give us options on how we do our trainings; virtually or self-paced.

Up until now, they conduct sessions on new technologies that are rising in the industry and applicable to the work. I have picked up skills related to my technical field such as power apps, power BI, Microsoft d365.

The training and development programs are well-supported by HR Department. Also, trainings that can be availed outside company is still part of the reimbursable trainings or seminars.

The trainers encouraged us to ask questions and does not let anyone be left behind.

Sometimes there are training with regards to technical and non-technical in the company and it is a full of information that you can apply to your day-today tasks.

Great
