IBM punch cards become the industry standard for the next 50 years, holding nearly all of the world’s known information and enabling large-scale projects like the US Census. IBM works with the government on the US Social Security Act of 1935, tabulating employment records for 26 million Americans — the largest accounting project of its time.

Your role

• Learning and using solution-selling techniques to identify and engage decision-makers and influencers, qualify business opportunities, and respond to clients’ needs.
• Help manage a dedicated client set and define, confirm, and communicate the differentiated value of IBM’s technology at both the technical and business level.
• Help lead the entire sales process and ensure delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, whilst expanding existing accounts.
• They are collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners, to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline

Training & development

Training programs can be created independently or with a learning administration system, with the goal of employee long-term development. Common training practices include orientations, classroom lectures, case studies, role-playing, simulations, and computer-based training, including e-learning.

Work-life balance

IBM provides two days off to its employees every week, usually at the time of weekends but if a holiday occupies the weekday then the weekends are kept on for work. In spite of weekends, you also get holidays for most of the festivals. Sick leaves are also permitted and one can even take 20 days off at a stretch annually.
