Your role

• Provides 24/7 technical operations support for cloud-based solutions to Clients on supported applications, DevOps, middleware, security, and infrastructure.
• Following a standard workflow and incident handling processes, they receive and record incident-related information using a variety of tools and process, selects appropriate actions to resolve issues, and communicates the solution or action plan to the Client.
• Supports a number of tools as part of the Integrated toolchain. They use professional knowledge and problem determination/source identification skills to resolve problems involving APIs, application services, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, containers, Kubernetes nodes, ICP management, middleware components, network, security, and infrastructure issues alike.

Work-life balance

About you

• Fluent in the Japanese language (speaking, as well as reading and writing kanji)
• Able to translate English to Japanese and vice versa
• Ability to estimate an effort and all impacts of the proposed solution
• Very good communication skills; analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to cooperate and take business and solution lead in multi-vendor teams
• Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.
