Your role

The Demand Management Officer effectively implements all forecasting activities that will sustain business growth, manage profit, gain efficiencies, and enhance processes to achieve the objectives of the assigned category. The position also plays a critical role in executing strategies and controls that will improve the accuracy of forecasts and align inventory levels with demand variations to achieve profitability.

Demand Forecasting and Management

• Develops rolling category demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
• Drives cross-functional collaboration and engagement to institutionalize the demand forecasting process.
• Executes policies supporting the demand forecasting process.
• Facilitates collaborative planning process with core stakeholders to achieve consensus for monthly rolling demand forecast.
• Implements rules and leads handling of exceptions caused by significant, unexpected events.
• Leads gap planning for the category and provides recommendations for Manager's approval, as needed.
• Ensures that open issues within scope are completely closed and resolutions are documented.
• Measures key performance indicators to track and evaluate rolling demand forecasts made, assess the effectiveness of the demand forecasting process, and drive continuous improvement.

About you

• Graduate of Statistics, Math, Economics, Industrial Engineering or any related course.
• Preferably with at least 2-4 years of experience in S&OP or in related field of discipline, strong track record of forecast accuracy across a complex, multi-disciplinary function.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply (can be considered for Associate level).
