About Kumon

Kumon is an educational program that was founded by Toru Kumon in Japan in 1958. The program is designed to help students, primarily children, develop their math and reading skills through a structured and self-paced learning approach.

Your role & responsibilities

Kumon Associates will undergo a comprehensive 6-month probationary training to learn about the Kumon Method and the different facets of the company. Successful trainees will become Area Development Managers who have an active role in franchise center development through regular center visits, center visit reports, and consultation with our Kumon instructors.

Responsibilities – Area Development Manager:

• Provide support to Kumon instructors (franchisees) with center concerns like, but not limited to the following:
  • Center Operations
  • Kumon Instruction
  • Communication
• Strengthen center development through regular center visits, center visit reports, and consultation with instructors.
• Create, modify, and conduct learning opportunities like center training and community meetings for Kumon Instructors and Center Assistants

Training & development

All Kumon associates will have an opportunity to go through a series of training to acquire knowledge and deepen their understanding of the Kumon Method through Kumon worksheets study, Kumon Education Center attachment, participation in Instruction seminars, etc.

• At least one (1) year of work-related experience, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
