Your role

• Responsible for reviewing applications and associated underwriting evidence
• Responsible for analyzing, summarizing, and classifying risk profiles according to JH philosophy and underwriting guidelines
• Responsible for managing aspects of underwriting process while pending underwriting requirements

About you

• University or College degree – four-year health science (Physical Therapy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Psychology.
• Typing Skill: 35 WPM/95% Accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical disorders/terminologies and disease management
• Risk assessment skills (identifies and understands patterns of morbidity and mortality)
• Ability to understand/interpret diagnostic tests
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical and critical thinking ability
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, manage tight deadlines, and address urgent cases
• Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate within the team
• Ability to work with multiple systems/applications
