Your role & responsibilities

Financial Analyst is primarily accountable for the accounting and analysis of finance activities to support Asia Finance Shared Services. The role is also responsible for the preparation of tasks that will flow to the management reports being used by Business Units within Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations – Finance operations that are transaction in nature but have a financial impact (e.g. invoicing, credit card refund, fund sighting, fund pricing).
  • Accounting Operations – responsible for preparing, and uploading entries to facilitate month-end activities.
  • Reconciliation of accounts and balance sheet items for audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting – for submission to the regional team for consolidation of reports and for regulatory submissions.
  • Management Reporting - to support the requirement of internal and external parties.
  • BAU – provides backup and first-pass review of daily and simple processes.
  • Performs ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Business Units
  • Process improvements – Propose automation initiatives for existing processes
  • Migration – support migrations and cross-trainings within the team

About you

  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA is an advantage.
  • 1 - 2 years of working experience.
  • Knowledge of Business Objects applications, Lawson, Hyperion Essbase, and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Good command of written and oral English.
