    Job Overview

    We are currently seeking an Analyst (Intern) to join the Client Service Team – Index under our Client Coverage organization in Manila. The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first-tier support for our institutional clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on our line of products and services. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional travel may be required for on-site presentations or training. The team members work closely with account managers and consultants to develop and maintain client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodology
    • Act as point of contact for routine inquiries and data requests
    • Participate in developing client relationships through proactive follow up on issues raised by clients
    • Analyze market performance and data for our clients on a reactive and a proactive basis
    • Maintain relationships by ensuring relevant product information is shared with clients
    • Provide client feedback to the Coverage, Product Management, Research, and Production groups
    • Keep up with current events and trends in the marketplace

    Qualifications

    • A self-starter who is highly motivated, and has the ability to work individually and within a team
    • Good understanding of international financial institutions and global financial markets
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Ability to develop value-added contributions to both internal and external clients
    • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office and tools
    • Experience in client servicing capacity, (via email and phone) is a plus
    • Past experience in serving external financial institutional clients is a plus
    • An undergraduate degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative fields is required.
    • Fresh graduates are also welcome.
