Your role

The ESG Controversies team provides assessments of ESG controversies involving the impact of company operations and/or products and services that allegedly violate national or international laws, regulations, and/or commonly accepted global norms. The intern will assist in Controversies news pre-screening efficiencies in improving news relevancy and classification.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Flag news articles, review and compare article relevancy vs manual flags.
  • Analyze news relevancy trends and identify improvements in news classification and queue management.
  • Identify and detect false positive trends.

About you

Desired experience:

  • Undergraduate students taking Finance/Economics or Business Management, International Development & Relations, Social Science, Interdisciplinary Studies, Sustainability, or related degrees.

Specific knowledge and skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills.

Desired qualifications:

  • Keen to details and independent worker as well as a good team player with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Must be willing to participate in an internship program with a duration of 3 months starting June 3, 2024.
