Your role & responsibilities

About the team

E-commerce’s Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for not only the buyers but also the sellers and creators. They constantly work on areas such as risk detection abilities, fairness and sustainability of the E-Commerce ecosystem, content and commodity quality, and friction-free experiences to drive improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the frontend development of Governance & Experience solutions for TikTok Shop in Singapore.
• Responsible for the development of scenarios like risk management, moderation, service care, etc.
• Constantly improve customer experience through quantitative service monitoring, alerting, and the use of data and operational dashboards.

About you

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master/PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Coding experience with a general-purpose programming language (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript).
• Experience with any major Javascript framework like ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Enthusiastic about quality, design, and user experience.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following internship cycles below:

• Summer Internship - 06 May 2024 to 26 July 2024 (12 weeks).
• Off-cycle / Credit-bearing - Starting 08 January 2024 or 12 August 2024.
