Your role and responsibilities

The Market Research Specialist is responsible for providing high-level market research support to different CGI business sectors: finance, transport & travel, utilities, oil & gas, public sector, space and defense, etc. The role involves quality control to ensure that information is correct and relevant and that the presentation and visuals are aligned with the CGI brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provides high-level market research support to different CGI business sectors: finance, transport & travel, utilities, oil & gas, public sector, space and defense, etc
• Undertaking high-level desk-based research into a particular market sector, specific company, or individual
• Preparation of sales materials including but not limited to MS PowerPoint and proposals
• Supporting business needs by completing ad hoc requests and/or other projects as assigned
• Maintaining regular contact with assigned points of contact and building relationships with internal clients
• Performing other tasks to ensure the team runs smoothly as allocated.

About you

• Fresh or new graduates are welcome to apply. Preferably a candidate who is involved in academic organizations such as writing and student publication, research and anthropology, and the like
• Bachelor's degree holder
• Relevant experience is an advantage, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Data Analysis
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to conduct research, analyze the data, and provide a strategic recommendation based on the findings
• Strong desk research skills, demonstrable knowledge, and/or interest in relevant industry or sector
• Ability to interpret and communicate information effectively
• Effective presentation skills, design experiences
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in PowerPoint
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and focused, with good business thinking
• Team player, resourceful, flexible, and open to suggestion/s
• Pro-active in giving suggestions and recommendations for improving the process
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually
• Ability to work under pressure and cope with fast-paced situations
• Willing to work on mid-shift (1pm – 10 pm)​ and hybrid working arrangement (Mckinley, Taguig)
