About Mind You

Mind You is a mental health technology company that provides businesses access to preventative therapy sessions with licensed psychologists or counselors. They are a mental health service that focuses on providing professional mental health preventive programs offered via video conference, phone call, or chat.

Your role & responsibilities

The Clinical Intern (RPsy Intern) is responsible for assisting Mind You’s mental health professionals with various tasks involved in research, preventive therapies, mental health first aid, psychoeducation, and other administrative work on different mental health projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To do psychometrician-related tasks such as scoring, interpreting, and generating reports based on questionnaires and assessments or psychologist-related tasks on delivering and providing mental health support via Mind You’s mental health platform.
  • To research topics and concepts useful for various mental health projects and/or initiatives undertaken by Mind You.
  • To come to the office when necessary or required by Mind You, or to otherwise be present online if so required.
  • To attend regular meetings at the office, or through digital means, as may from time to time be required by Mind You.
  • To attend clients’ meetings, whether in person or digitally, when required by Mind You.
  • To engage in optional activities/projects provided by Mind You, such as but not limited to the mentorship program and external engagements.
  • To perform other tasks that are related, supplementary, or complementary to their function.

About you

  • Must be a graduate student currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
  • If not currently enrolled, open to volunteers with partial or completed Master’s units in Abnormal Psychology and in “Counselling and Psychotherapy”.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good team player and the ability to easily adapt to the required job standards.
  • Confidence in working autonomously.
  • Reliable and stable internet connection (tested via speed test and QC by the systems administrator).
  • Professional environment (this includes a visually appropriate background and minimal background noise during calls, meetings, training, etc.).
  • Laptop or personal computer.
