Please describe the interview process and assessments.
The assessment is through. It has two rounds of interview followed by an assessment on behavior and cognitive skills.
Intern, Makati - 10 Nov 2023
The assessments were appropriate and the instructions were clear. The interview process was lengthy, but okay overall. To avoid conflicts of interest, I suggest including more filtering questions specific to the job or internship the candidate is applying for.
Intern, Makati City - 10 Nov 2023
The interview and assessment process are good enough to check if I am capable to work with the company. However, they are requesting too much requirements for an internship role which I dont think is necessary.
Intern, Makati - 10 Nov 2023
The internship interview process I went through was quick and fast. Not only did I have to answer questions but I also got to learn about my boss and the department she manages.
Intern, Makati City - 09 Nov 2023
The interview was okay but it took time before they got back to me
Intern, Makati - 09 Nov 2023
Applying to Nestle PH as an intern is unclear, as job posts are not on LinkedIn and Nestle's website. Additionally, I had to email my previous Line Manager to apply, and she had to provide an endorsement for me just to process it. More so, I had to follow up multiple times and eventually resorted to messaging HR people on LinkedIn to ensure the progress of my application. It took me approximately one and a half months to complete the process, and unfortunately, other applicants faced a similar situation. Finally, my previous contacts from HR were unresponsive to my follow-up emails. They did not reply despite my multiple attempts to reach out/follow up.
Intern, Makati - 09 Nov 2023
Interview process was quick. Though, I could have received my interview results on a faster notice.
Intern, Makati - 08 Nov 2023
The call backs did take long. I submitted my resume in their database around June and they got back to me around August already. However, the rest of the process was smooth and quick.
Intern, Metro Manila - 07 Nov 2023
First I had to apply thru email, which was followed by an online assessment. Then a short initial interview with my talent acquisition. The finally, I had my final interview with the line manager.
Intern, Makati City - 07 Nov 2023
In general, the process was smooth and the HR as very responsive and easy to approach for concerns.
Intern, Makati - 07 Nov 2023
It took me months to get the offers and interviews, considering I was one of the earliest applicants who took the assessment.
Intern, Makati - 06 Nov 2023
The interview process and assessments were fun and challenging. I think they screened us well and were able to get people fit for the role. However, the process was a little disorganized; there would sometimes be last minute changes in schedule and meeting announcements would often come only one day before the scheduled meeting date, making it difficult to plan and align schedules with the company. It would have been helpful if the timelines were already outlined from the beginning of the hiring process, and if schedules were aligned at least 3 working days before the actual events.

Overall, I really liked that the interview was with a panel, and the presentation was in person. These challenges allowed me to truly show what I am capable of, which I think wouldn't have been as apparent if it was done online. In addition, the usual one-on-one interview or recorded interviews wouldn't have allowed me to learn from these esteemed panel. I also really appreciated the assistance provided and the transparency in terms of timeline every step of the way. One thing that can be improved perhaps is the initial call which I believe was done on a weekend.

We submitted our curriculum vitae and did gamified assessments. We then did an HR interview, then scheduled for a panel interview. Those who passed were given a case study to solve and had a final interview with the Line Manager.
Graduate, Makati - 31 Oct 2023
Recruitment process was fast, after the initial interview with HR we had another interview with our hiring manager. Less than a day later, we were provided feedback and the results of our application.

The questions that were asked in my interviews were more about my experiences in my previous internships as an intern, as well as my line manager giving me an overview on what working in the brand was like.
Intern, Metro Manila - 07 Nov 2023
What can I offer to the team despite my unfamiliarity in the HR department? Am I interested in the job description given? What are the strengths I could offer to the company achieve their goals?
Intern, Makati City - 07 Nov 2023
For the first screening, questions about my intent in joining the company were asked - why did I apply for this job? Questions about my past experience and my personality were also asked. For the second screening, questions more related to my role were asked. Specifically, I was asked about my previous marketing and sales experience. I was also given "situationers" or "what would you do if this happened..." types of questions. For instance, I was asked, "What was the most creative project that you led?" Finally, questions about leadership were also asked; what kind of leader would I be? What makes a great Nestle leader? The final screening was a case study where I was given a marketing challenge, as well as the brand brief and consumer data, then I was tasked to come up with a proposal to present to the business executives.
Graduate, Manila - 03 Nov 2023
It was more situational for me. As someone who has no background in Supply Chain, they asked questions pertaining to my leadership skills.

Questions were focused on my work experience and workstyle.

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
I'd recommend to think of their organizational and school-related activities and focus on the times they are working with teams. The best way to prepare is to journal their experiences from one org and company to another so they have something to guide them when asked on specific details about an experience.
Intern, Makati - 10 Nov 2023
The best tip is to carefully review your resume and understand each bullet point. Consider what you did, when you did it, what you did well, what you could improve, and the impact of your work. Additionally, research common interview questions and practice answering them so you can respond confidently and concisely.
Intern, Makati City - 10 Nov 2023
I suggest that they research first regarding the culture and environment of Nestle before they apply
Intern, Makati - 09 Nov 2023
The best way to prepare is to keep an open mind and to think with an open mind. You can never be prepared for everything so make sure to set your goals and objectives. What you want to get out of the internship as well as knowing what you can help and contribute with.
Intern, Makati City - 09 Nov 2023
Do your prior research about the company and the department. Afterwards, just put your best foot forward and be sincere with your answers.
Intern, Makati - 08 Nov 2023
Be yourself! Never doubt in your abilities because they see the potential in you. Best preparation is to really know your resume and also to know the role you are applying for.
Intern, Metro Manila - 07 Nov 2023
Just keep a level head. And make sure you've prepared physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Intern, Makati City - 07 Nov 2023
Since I'm only an intern, I think what can I advice is to be yourself. It's always starting from scratch and then gradually learning and improving.
Intern, Makati - 07 Nov 2023
Just be yourself and focus on getting to know your potential manager and role
Intern, Makati - 06 Nov 2023
To anyone applying for this company, data storytelling is an important skill to master. One must be able to communicate clearly what they want to say and make sure that their message is delivered within the given amount of time. Interviewers expect to hear a good story from the candidate. Other than this, it is also important for candidates to have a lot of experience leading their own projects and pursuing impactful endeavors (e.g. internship experience, organizational work, volunteer work, etc.) so that they can develop skills that will prepare them for the workplace. This will also help them build an identity that they would be proud to share with employers.
Graduate, Manila - 03 Nov 2023
