My internship is a fun and overwhelming, but educational experience. I am learning how to approach projects and key elements to include in various outputs.
Intern, Makati City - 10 Nov 2023
The Department of Digital Transformation, is relatively new so a lot of things we do here are new. There is a lot of experimentation that goes with this and that becomes part of my on-the-job training.
Intern, Makati City - 09 Nov 2023
So far, I'm learning about the structure, dynamics, and systems of the company. I am also learning how to work with agencies, suppliers, and other teams

There's no training for interns, as our 'work' is considered a training ground for us.
Intern, Makati - 09 Nov 2023
Formal training includes event workshops and programs. On the other hand, informal training pertains to check-ins and feedback from line manager. From these experiences, I have honed my skills on creativity, problem-solving, decision making, ideation, communication, time management, stress management, and project management.

On the Job Training is truly an opportunity for me as a packaging engineering student who is currently an intern here in MAO. I am able to apply my knowledge learned at school at continuously learning in terms of real world application.
Intern, Makati - 07 Nov 2023
Since I'm under the learning and development for HR, I have been blessed to attend multiple training sessions, such as business storytelling, effective decision making, and like such. I really enjoyed each training even though I'm not technically a participant but more of a moderator/participant. Both formal and informal training from nestle is helpful in my personal development and career life.
Intern, Makati City - 07 Nov 2023
The formal training programs that I've experienced in the company were 1) a week's worth of in-classroom training and 2) approximately a week's worth of online training. While these programs were good, they felt incredibly inadequate compared to the workload that I faced (and will face) in the following months. Perhaps these formal training programs could have lasted longer and/or could have been interspersed with the informal / on the job training for a period of 1-2 years.

Very insightful

Informal or on the job training can be improved and much more specific. I understand that the culture is learning by doing but being given direction and guidance would be much helpful versus getting mad if the intern doesn't understand.
Intern, MAO - 25 Oct 2023
The company offers formal training programs as well as trainings through the work we handle. As an intern, our mentors are always helpful with the tasks at hand should we ever need help. They encourage learning and applying our knowledge whenever we see fit.
